Institutions such as universities and the IRS call me Kay Kroger. You may know me by my artist name, Kro, or as The Traveling Typist. I’m a poet, a teacher, a mystic, and a muse. 

This site is going to walk you through my literacy journey. It will show you the junctions between oppression and expression. It will give you insight into my personal (expansive, but messy) writing process. And it will invite you into a radical vision (and revision) of the world as it is.
